Mindala · Specialist care pathways

Mothers deserve space for themselves, too.

Pregnancy and the time after birth can bring emotional, physical and social changes. Needs vary, from information and emotional support to specialist assessment and treatment. Mindala is developing a maternal mental-health pathway to support women and connect appropriate mental and maternity healthcare.

Coordinated programme under development and review; no digital therapeutic programme is currently activated.

Different journeys, different needs

You don't need to wait for distress to become overwhelming.

Support may start with a question, a difficult feeling or uncertainty about emotional changes during motherhood. Some experiences benefit from more specialized assessment and care. This website does not diagnose or assess urgency; it can help orient a routine first contact.

How the care pathway is envisioned

Support matched to the need.

This is a general service design, not a personal clinical protocol or guarantee of availability.

  1. 01

    Understand the need

Space to discuss mental wellbeing and concerns during pregnancy or after birth without requiring a prior diagnosis.

  2. 02

    Assessment and prioritization

Consider suitable support, clinical assessment or referral as needed and available.

  3. 03

    Coordinate support

Discuss stepped-care options collaboratively and coordinate maternal care when appropriate and consented.

  4. 04

    Follow-up and review

Review evolving needs and the agreed plan during follow-up.

Coordinated care

Women, mental-health providers and maternity teams.

We aim to support appropriate collaboration between women and their clinicians, including maternity and mental-health providers, with consent and confidentiality. Referral and information sharing are subject to need and professional safeguards.

What does “in development” mean?

We are reviewing clinical resources, care procedures and supervision requirements before offering a structured programme through the platform. Automatic online programme enrolment, assessment assignment and programme sessions are not enabled here.

For immediate danger to mother or baby, use appropriate local emergency services or the nearest emergency department rather than waiting for a website reply.
